QUESTIONS

  • My dedication to academic achievement and my passion for community involvement makes me a strong candidate. I always seek to develop my knowledge by challenging myself with AP courses, summer courses offered by colleges, and self-learning. Not only has this helped me grow personally, but I have been able to contribute to the community. I have applied my knowledge in extracurricular activities by helping develop a robotics program where I’ve been able to incorporate my skills and teach them to others. I believe this makes a well-rounded application, and I am excited to continue my efforts in college!

  • In a college experience, I am looking for a rigorous curriculum that challenges me to think outside the box and incorporate what I learn into action. I would like this curriculum to be backed with hands-on learning with modern technology and equipment. I am also looking for a strong and passionate community with thriving and developed extracurricular activities that will help me further develop my skills. Should I find myself in a college experience that does not have all of this, I would be interested in helping develop the school’s program.

  • I see myself incorporating what I learn in the classroom to contribute to the college community. I want to use my innovative coding experiences to develop school interest in the activities that I am a part of. In my high school, I was able to create a robotics team and grow its popularity, in turn helping raise money for clubs and activities.

  • My main academic focus is computer science with interests in artificial intelligence and machine learning. A lot of this interest stems from work outside of the classroom. I have been an active member of my school’s robotics team, where I have incorporated many of my programming skills. Additionally, I have made many coding projects in my spare time.

  • To prepare for college-level work, I have enrolled in many advanced placement courses, taking seven throughout high school across different disciplines. Not only did I gain advanced knowledge, these courses have helped me with time management and studying skills that will prove effective in college.

  • In the future, I see myself continuing my education by pursuing a masters degree related to computer science. Beyond college, I wish to work in the computer science industry—making algorithms, programs, and artificial intelligence to address societal issues and make technology more accessible to people.
